Default Buddy

Will the Hawks be "Buddy"less for next weekend?

Judging by what I saw of it, he did it intentionally and it was high contact so he can kiss his brownlow and coleman medal hopes goodbye.

I hope he does get rubbed out so at least the roo's have 1 less hawk to worry about next weekend

Won't affect his Coleman chances even if he goes, which he wont, because it was low impact, virtually unavoidable as he had momentum and the Adelaide player was being tackled in an upwards position so he met Buddy halfway. Plus he has a good record, so 25% discount if there is an early plea. There's no way he should go, when Goodes got off for a much, much worse incident.

well who really knows?

the tribunal is as *****ed as it has ever been. if goodes got off last week then one would expect buddy should get off for what, in reality, was less serious.

nobody knows....i wouldnt be putting any money where my mouth is

Was avoidable, could have tackled. 1 week minimum for a silly bump.

We shouldn't be comparing, we should judge each incident individually

By that, I agree with Brades. Franklin should be out for a week, it's just a question of what the Tribunals flipped coin says

once again i will defend Franklin as i did Goodes.

not enough in it to constitute rough conduct for me. just a footy accident.

if that costs him a Brownlow we'll never hear the end of it.

Well what can we say....Goodes repeats and repeats nasty cheap shots including a head high hit and gets off, and Buddy get done for a minor incident.

I now believe Goodes is a protected species, and the tribunal is fully out of whack with the game.

What a crock of s... !!!!

Anyone got a feeling that the AFL and Kevin Rudd have teed up a deal to extend the "sorry" to the AFL aboriginal community via the tribunal? I bet Roughead would of got 2 weeks if he did it.
