Default The Pies Run Home

Take a look at Collingwoods run home, and it appears pretty challenging for them to remain in the 8.

Not one easy game, and some real hard ones against top teams.

Key may be the games against Essendon, North, and St Kilda, if they drop 2 they will be in deep trouble.

I think they will finish 9th and St Kilda and North will overtake them.

Even round 22 against Freo at Subi is a hard ask for the Pies.

Don, I think you are just bitter about the fate of the bombers this year.
The pies will make it. The run home is not easy, but I just cant see the teams outside the 8 making it. We are good enough to stay in.

No Anthony Rocca for a while, thats a big loss for the Pies.

Sydney-L
Adelaide-W
Kangas-L
Essendon-W
Hawthorn-L
St Kilda-W
Port Adelaide-At the moment its a win but that could change due to Ports form.
Sydney-Could be a win at home so thats 50/50.
Fremantle Dockers-Dockers will go hard for the last game of the year so thats 50/50 as well

Thats my predictions for the pies 3 W,3 L and the rest are 50/50.

My season is over so this is not sour grapes.......much.lol

I am not sure if they are at home to Adelaide or not, but at very least that must be a 50/50 for them. Adelaide are in solid form and are never an easy pushover.

The way I see it is, they should win 4 games against bombers, saints, power, dockers

they will struggle against the roo's (I hope) hawks, and swans, and the crows is a real 50-50

What it comes down to is whether it will take 11 or 12 wins to make the finals, bearing in mind that the roo's and tigers each have a 1/2 game advantage on them, but the pies have a substancial % over both teams.

They will be just in or just out. I don't care which as long as they are not replacing the roo's in the 8 or I will be spewin.

I might be a little too optimistic, but i think that the Magpies can win at least 6 more games and we could even win 8 of the remaining 9 games, which might give us a chance of sneaking into the Top-4. I think the only game that we will definately lose is the Hawthorn game, the Kangaroos and Crows matches will be 50/50, but we should win all the other matches. I'm glad we play Sydney twice because we always play well against them. Go PIES!!!!

I cant agree - its way too optimistic. (rooboy - its good to see the roos proving me wrong, thought they lost it for a while there. They may make it afterall)

Hi Perry,

Yes its true Perry, I am deeply bitter that the Dons are not in contention for a flag this year, but with the right medication and my analyst reminding me.......................the season has had some high spots...we beat Carlton twice........who beat Collingwood, I am feeling better.

What Im waiting for is round 17.......

Ha Ha Ha have a good day Perry.
