Default earning your pay

It's been brought to the table by none other than former eagles player Karl Langdon, that 1 way to maybe get Daniel Kerr to pull his head in is by only paying him by the game and not the season.

Langdon says for the 13 or however many games it was he got suspended, he got no pay.

Seems fair enough to me. I think 1 suspension per year should be allowed and anything after that you get docked for each week your not playing.

It would certainly make me pull my head in and watch myself carefully.

I am keen to get everyone's 's on this.

You dont work, you dont get paid. No freebee - get suspended - get no pay.

(This only applies to footballers - I work for the Governement so I should get paid if I work or not).

Yep no doubt at all, no play no pay.

Maybe thats what is required to stop the thuggery, its unacceptable in a game where injury can occur often in general play, that risk is further increased from malicious assaults by cowards.

After the John Greening incident some years ago I would have thought head high elbows or fists would now be a minimum 12 week or more penalty.
