Default The bottom 8 review

Melbourne.........A year of building and development, expect 16th in 09.

West Coast........A disappointing year, lots of talent, and should improve strongly in 09, Kerr will leave.

Freemantle......Harvey now doing the clean out he should have done last year, will challenge for the 8 in 09.

Port what a collapse, but plenty of young talent, need to divest some older players and should finish around 10th next year.

Essendon, a very good year for the young players, a few new key players required, and a few removed should give the Dons a shot at the 8 in 09.

Carlton, a very good year for the Blues, just a couple of key new players could get them around 7th or 8th next year.

Brisbane, very disappointing year, under performed, will struggle in 09.

Richmond good year for the Tigers, and should continue into 09 with a top 8 finish, will be fierce between Richmond Essendon Collingwood and Carlton.

On the way up Richmond Carlton Essendon............on the way down Brisbane Sydney Bulldogs...............

Recent bad form from the Doggies isn't an indication of moving down, I suspect they'll be better in 09

essendon will take alot longer to redevelop
next season lloyd will be 31, lucas 32 and fletcher 34
with pev, rama, johnson and mal michael retiring, lovett up for trade bait, losing players doesnt help their cause it only weakens it
no way will the dons improve next season, they will start diminishing

nah actually im right about almost everything else.
for instance i did say the saints might finish fourth and most scoffed at the suggestion, how they did it is irrelevant, they still got there.
my brother and i said that the cats would win by 12 goals in the granny, sure we were off abit, but hey who saw it coming by a margin the greatest of all.
like i say im prepared to look like a f..... ****head by speaking on instinct, but i usually speak my mind and im not doing it to offend u.
i like the cats and enjoy a team dominate the comp, they are sensational in every way.
if im wrong i will apologise.

I think the only thing the dons will be fighting for is the spoon with the D's.

I just meant rating Budgie

If I didn't get that annoyed at Chaddy I'm not gonna have a problem with someone who has genuine insight.

of the bottom 8 teams...
i think Port Adelaide will bounce back next year into the top8.
and Carlton will shoot up to top4 !!
1 of Richmond, Brisbane or Fremantle will come into the top8 as well.

well my beloved doggies wont win it this year and have had a poor back end of the 08 season, but i doubt we r on the way down... the next few years are is our window of opportunity to get that flag... just sum trivia for u's all... its been 54 years since 1954 (dogs first and only premiership) and in that year, round 18, the dogs got done by geelong at skilled stadium by a fair bit so... ha ha just a bit hopeful.
