In a fair, flowing game we are > Hawthorn

Well done to Alastair Clarkson for preventing that from happening, with underhanded tactics and bribes of the umpires

I don't care what you say, the Geelong Advertiser is a mighty fine publication for Geelong supporters and bandwagoners alike

The following are pure gold:
Zero Punctuation, Family Guy, Mighty Boosh, Black Books, RATM, QOTSA, Buckethead, Werder Bremen and the Cats

you've got to be joking. Bribes?you got the betyter end of the stick. MAte, imo, and I disagree with the umps, geelong were never on top. Hawthorn played great, tight accountable footy. You should try ity when it matters.

Geelong are seriel chokers. In the last 20 years you have now lost 5 grand finals.

With that coming from a WCE fan I am truly disgusted.

Not literal bribes, no that was obvious to anyone with a few brain cells to rub together. You however are missing this requirement and for some unexplainable reason think you have the right to comment.

Hawthorn played in a style which disgusts me, because it isn't the beauty of their 2008 season. Hawthorn were treating this like 2007.

All they did was lock down the game, take out the Captain and then get given a free ride to the top via the Umps, if you really think that this has anything to do with choking, style of play or just bad luck then you're obviously choking on the bull**** force fed to all WCE fans so they can believe that the team has a chance at being respected by other supporters over the next 500 years.

So what is the word that describes a Collingwood style tendency to choke in finals? Cattiwobbles?

Shut up Spirit the Cats were beaten convincingly and you have nothing to whinge about because the free kick count was in your favour.

What a persuasive argument.

The free kicks given to Geelong were mostly from Hawthorn infringing on a mark or blatant push/trip/grab etc.

Hawthorns were blatantly incorrect and against the run of play.
