Default 2009 Premiers- which team and for what reason?

just a thread, where you can predict the premier of next season and the reason for that.

My prediction: Hawthorn.
Reason: Just won the premiership and will only get better.

The latest odds on Cousins,

$1.25 to the pies
$7.00 to the swans
$9.00 to the Saints.

geelong will be stung by the loss this year and will bounce back and win the premiership next year. I think they will begin to fall away after that.

Welcome Cazza and I hope you enjoy the site.
Who knows what will happen. I certainly would have laughed at anyone had they said the Hawks would win 2008 this time last year.
One thing is for sure, we are in for some great entertainment next season when they try to sort it out.

I reckon the Hawks are still a little behind Geelong and so I reckon the Cats will win it next year. Hope I'm wrong though. Not sure bout the Pies and the Roos playing finals next year though Nufan

Default Roos

The pies havent got a bad team at all, they thumped Geelong this year and the team hasnt changed too much, no burns will hurt, they will be down the bottom of the ladder, maybe adelaide in place for them, but they are getting very old as are sydney.

The roos havent had a great team in a long time yet they keep making the finals year after year, beating good teams and losign to ****ty ones.

With McIntosh hopefully fit and back in form, they could be good.
