your proud of ninth place? how often have the tigers finished ninth in the last 15 years and where's it got them? richmonds biggest problem is they dont know how to split the runts from the litter when it comes to drafting, and when they do draft a decent player they dont know how to develop him to his true potential.

i respect bailey, he beat a lot of worthy candidates for that job and he seems to know what he wants in a team, proly another season or 2 near the bottom cant be avoided but after that they should be achieving more than 9th place

this year yes i am. we were predicted as bottom 2 again this year. Didnt add much to the team, Jordy and Morton. so from last and dismal to a half game from finals and the second best second half of the year is something to be proud of.
The tigers have developed their midfield and backline this year with Kel Moore leading the way, Lids, Foley have become stars, Tuck has kept good form and Cotchin slides in nicely.

9th place is an over achievement from the start of the year and even half way through.
Next year will be finals if not then i will not be proud at all

I hope Richmond can lift next year but I suspect Matthew Richardson has probably played his best footy this year. So the question remains - who is going to lift next year to get them in the 8?

I can see in 09 that we will make a statement that we are bakc. And the other teams will have to watch us. As the young ones will be taking off and the older ones will be doing the support role and directing play.

Tigers did well in 08, could and should have won at least one from Carlton, and next year need to get over Collingwood at least once.

It was a good effort from one of the traditional clubs, I hope they get into the 8 and get the roar going loud and clear for coming years, Richo and Bowden are classics and they have some great young players, just do me a favor and drop a game against the Dons in o9 we must avoid the spoooooooooooon.

09 Tigers 7th
