Default 8th Spot it's early in the year but ....

I know it's early in the year, and anything could happen, but in my opinion the top 7 writes itself - (not in order) WCE, SYD, WB, ST.K, ADEL, MELB, FRE.

Who will fill the last spot? It really could be anyone. I reckon Port, they don't have the luxery of Tredrea all the time now so players like White and Ebert have really stepped up. The Burgoynes and the Cornes' are deadset champions and younger players like Pearce, Surjan and Salopek are driving the midfield at the moment. Full back is in issue.

I rate Daniher highly. He's been in the business for many, many years now. He knows what he's doing.

replace St. Kilda and Melbourne with Port Adelaide and Essendon.

Sinclair i agree with you about daniher. he has been there nine years and done nothing. they made a grand final and then claimed not to have the right mix a year later. in round one i haven't seen a team quit on their coach as early as Melbourne did against St. Kilda. Melbourne need Garry Lyon.

I don't think the top 7 writes itself at all...

I think at the start of the year it was easier to say that but the first 2 rounds have thrown up a few interesting results, most notably Essendon and Brisbane.

Fremantle aren't travelling that great and Melbourne has some injuries.

Might not be as clear cut as everyone thinks...

First 2 rounds are interesting every year. It means nothing. Essendon will not make the 8, and Melbourne need to avoid Garry Lyon at all costs. The boy's bad news.

Please tell me this is a joke or I lose all faith in everything you say from here on in. 2 wins (one away) against two top 4 teams of last year and you still don't rate us? Adleaide were poor fair enough but even Tarrant stoodup in the Freo game and Pav was brilliant.

Last year Geelong won their first 2 games by a combined total of 146 points! And look where that got them. You can't make any assumptions about who will suddenly get good based on the first two games. Its the same every year.
