Default Favourite player from another club when you were a kid

For me, my favourite of all favourites was Kevin Bartlett. Even though I barracked for Fitzroy and hated Richmond with a passion, KB's number was on my back until he retired and some say I even tried to imitate him when I played Junior footy.

After that it was the Derminator, what a gun. I still to this day wish Dermott was out there running around in the number 23, crashing packs and stirring up the opposition. Oh and the chicken walk, how good was that! Then there was his inspirational goal early on in the '89 GF.

Around the same time as Dermie, there was a guy wearing the number 42 at Collingwood - the club we all love to hate. A guy by the name of Darren Millane. The kids of today who never saw him play, will never know just how special Pants was to people of my generation. He was THE best player of the period 88-91, without doubt. Often playing with injuries that would have modern players out for a month, Millane was the perfect footballer of his era and was on the verge of becoming the greatest ever when he was sadly lost. No-one at Collingwood - Bucks included - even comes within a country mile of how good this guy was.

I used to love Ben Hart from Adelaide. Bloody cut when he retired. Wanted to see one more season! Great Player though!

im kinda too one eyes to like too many opposition players, i always had a soft spot for darryl white, because he plays alot like i do, high vertical leap, slightly laconic, some might say lazy, before that of course ablett was king to watch, nothing beat watching the vics play the crow eaters at footy park, seeing him kick that goal from on the goal line near the point post over his head, to tie up the game, made me proud the be a vic...even the s.a. faithful were clapping...kinda.

but these days i watch judd and i reckon he is by far the best i have seen, the guy gut runs all day till his buggered, breaks packs, burns off opponents with pace, kicks goals, has good disposal in an under as well as outrigging..hes got it all!
