Default Port Pip Luckless Crows

Port Adelaide has held on to defeat cross-town rivals the Adelaide Crows in a thrilling three-point derby at Football Park in Adelaide on Friday night.

Did anybody go to the game? Please give us a bit of a review.

I didn't go to the game, but as I have Fox, I watched it live. Brief summary for now.

Port played a small running midfield that dominated the clearances and ran the legs off of Adelaides young midfield. They also played one of the ruckmen down forward as well as Ebert.

Both teams struggled to dispose properly especially as the rain fell. Adelaide were really poor at decision making alot of the time and were very undisciplined and gave away a stupid 50m that gave Port a Super-Goal from 3 metres out

A star for Adelaide was Griffin. He played well early up forward and managed to hold his own in the ruck. Meesen came off early with an injury to his knee, but it isnt that serious.

A star for Port was the usual suspects in Pearce and Burgoyne, but Logan also performed well, as did Rodan on debut for his new club.
