Sam Newman is a legend of a game, he can sometimes step over the boundaries but he is certainly an A grade Football Icon.

Repulsive - Unless you're female I don't know how you could classify him as repulsive.

Sexist - Can be, no more so then the average male.
Disgusting - Unless you're talking about his state of dress then i'd have to disagree.
