Default Brown > Hall > Riewoldt > Pavlich

I have constantly had an argument with a member here about Matthew Pavlich whilst being a star of the game isnt the best Power Forward in the comp. Pav doesn't have the natural brutalitiy and dominance of Brown nor the finnesse and workload of Hall and Riewoldt.

Brutality like Brown isn't needed to be a power foward. And as for Workload, I think you need to watch more dockers games and saints games. Riewoldt waits for the ball to come to him, Pavlich runs everywhere. Hall also sits on his backside alot, doesn't do as much work as Pavlich does.

Pavlich > Brown > rest.

I think Jonothan Brown is clearly the best in the comp. Hall clearly second best and his workrate is second to none. Hall spends more time in the back half of the ground than half the defenders do nowadays and still kicks coleman medal winning hauls!

Brown, Injuries pending probably hands down. But Brown and Hall are quite clearly a step in-front of Pavlich.

Only one of those is fit to be the captain of a club, and thats Pavlich. Riewoldt's head is messed up, he'll cry over anything. Brown and Hall are suspended every 5th week...

Plus only one of them works incredibly hard, and that is pavlich. He has the allround power forward game to perfection. Brown is better as a FF than a half forward, hence why he takes the majority of his marks within 20 of the goal.

Hall does not work hard at all, and doesnt have to on the SCG where you take one step to reach the opposite end of the ground.

Aren't we talking about power foward here? Captaincy doesn't really come into it. Of course Pavilich is better in other areas of his game, i actually don't disagree that Pavlich is a better all-round player than these other two. Personally, he'd be my first choice because he can do other things.

When talking about Forwardline, it's Brown and Hall that take the cake.

Now your making no sense whatsoever. I'm not talking about captaincy material but mind you Hall has co-captained a premeirship and a runnersup team for the past 2 seasons so his captaincy is far from terrible!

As for Pavlich working harder than Brown and Hall you might remember Brown was in the centre square against collingwood when he got injured last year, and Hall is a familiar sight on the wings of the SCG. Riewoldt might have had a sook but he had fair reason and I rate him ahead of Pavlich in all aspects other than kicking for goal where he can be wayward often!

What has brutality got to do with being a power forward then G? Oh snap, you can't answer that one.

By brutality I mean the way he charges through packs of 4-5 players and takes the one-grab like he just moved a bunch of 12 year olds out the way instead of grown men!
