I still reckon they'll miss the 8. Their list is over rated and they are too up and down.

List isn't over-rated, they are just inconsistent like Freo.

people say it dosent mean much but i dont reckon they have a winning culture at the club....theres some clubs you can see..and do see winning flags...and some that you just cant even vision winning a flag, and the cats are one for me, maybe its all come from the early 90s when they were so dominant and won nothing, but i just have never been able to take them as a serious flag contender.

The trick is they have to keep playing well. It's only early. TBH I'd have the Pies and Dogs before Cats... My opinion

I agree with you. Webelted the Lions in 03 at the GABBA by 69 points and were prem fav's, also top of the ladder, it meant farrk all seasons end and I reckon this is the same. 2 wins doesnt make a team prem fav's, they could, but won't imo.

C'mon give us some credit would ya.
We've played pretty decent in all our games except the Dogs and the Roos...
And even then we lost by 20, and 16 points.
We're not as up and down as most people think. I would say we're about as inconsistent as most of the other teams in the competition.
Adelaide, Carlton, Essendon, Freo, Melbourne, Port, Richmond, St Kilda, Sydney & the Bulldogs have all played some unflattering footy this year.
Fact is we sit 4th on the ladder with the best percentage by a mile. It has to mean something decent is happening...
The fact that we pumped Richmond (who at the time everybody saying they were in good form despite not having won a game...) and then beat the ladder leaders would suggest that we're in some pretty good form at the moment...

I'd say Richmond and Melbourne has as much of a shot at winning this years flag. Sadly, I do not think any Victorian will win this year. I hope I am wrong though, I'd like to at least see a Vic team make the GF (NOt the Pies).
