Default Why is everyone picking Kangaroos to come last?

They're going to play a much more attacking style of footy this year. They should be a good team to watch. I'm not saying they'll make the finals, but they'll be well and truly off the bottom IMO.
I think their list is totally set up for improvement this year. The starting lineup will be quite young, but ready to go. A lot of 22-24yr olds are set to take the next step, and they've got some pretty exciting 18-21yr olds ready to go as well. Some of these guys will really quicken them up.
Nathan Thompson is worth 50+ goals at full-forward (barring injury, of course). And if there's one i've learnt in football, it's never write off the Kangaroos.

good luck to them.

mate it's same old same old

We arn't a big club so we get poor exposure (player wise). People don't look at our list and a lot of fans know heaps about their club but nothing about others and therefore don't understand what a good list does / doesnt look like

Roos for top 8

More to the fact that you didn't add enough talent to the roster from last year. The roos are in a rebuilding phase with their older players going. Sure they won't finish last, but they will finish in the bottom 8 quite easily. I just can't see how you think you have a good list. Honestly Borat. (Yes, Borat, because you are being a simpleton). Your list lacks quality depth and the depth that you do have is totally inexperienced at AFL level. Give it a few years and you will start to improve as the new players get more games under the belt.

Oh by the way, Brilliant deal by North. Trade away a top draft pick for Johnno Hay's 8 games or whatever. Brilliant.

A) Laidley isnt an AFL level coach!
B) their core group are closer to finishing their careers than starting them
C) the youngsters that you rave about like Wellsy and so on are some of the most inconsistent footballers you will see!

But, don't undermine the Kangaroo's.
They can still give a Top 8 finish.
