Default Port vs Geelong

Massive game. Port should win and I hope they do. If the Cat's win this, and they will give it a red hot go like in 2004 where they just fell short, then I think they can be counted as contenders and will hang around. At least for the time being.

I hope Port win. No offense cat's fans.

Default Might be a draw

This is probably the game of the round and to hard to call.
I actually give the cats a real sniff at this one but its either going
to be close cats way or port will blow them away.

Mind you Freo and Saints will be a good game too.

I don't think we are capable of blowing them away. But Port can win if they play accountable footy, and stop Bartel and Ablett jr. Because no doubt Ling will go straight to Shaun, and on form Scarlett will murder Tredders.

Port need big games from the lesser lights like Mahoney, Rodan etc.

I really admire the pace and explosiveness of Rodan, Pearce and Burgoyne. Those boy's have the ability and fire power to really cause some havoc for the cats. Port will burst out of the blocks but the question will be whether they can sustain it. Go Power!

It was a joke.
I do think the Cats will win though...
As good as Port have been, I think they've been playing above themselves. A lot of their wins have ben closer than it looked. Not to discount where they are on the ladder, they thoroughly deserve it. Just think they're not as good as the win/loss column suggests...

Hello i'm back to the forum after a long absence.... and under a different name. Wasn't a huge player back when i used to post but i was a part of the forum none the less.

I believe this game holds a lot a information on whereabouts both these teams will be at the business end. Geelong have yet to leave Victoria this year so their travelling yips have yet to be tested. Also their record at AAMI isn't great.
Still yet to seriously rate Port as a flag contender this year. I just feel they've had some luck in beating good teams that are down on form. Beat Freo at subi.... Kangas before their streak started.... Beat Collingwood but i don't rate collingwood (might be coz im a dons man)....Saints - 12th on the ladder atm, struggling a bit.

Still if they can beat the cats, they might prove themselves a worthy contender.
I'm tipping Port by a small margin due to the home ground.
