Default St.Kilda names 3 captains

St.Kilda have decided to go with 3 captains this year, Lenny, Hayes, Nick Riewoldt and Luke Ball who were voted in by their peers with all apparently gaining similar votes. All 3 played as captains under Thomas' rotation policy and the Lyon has followed in his ex mentor (Roos) footsteps by namimg co-captains.

I disagree with this move, whilst all 3 are naturally a part of the leadership group I feel it's important for clubs to have one lead to follow or you end up hitting a T-Junction.

Stupid. Clubs win because they have the one leader.. sure they have leadership groups, but the one leader is the man you follow.

Agree.. don't like the "whoring" of the captaincy going on here. It's something which should be earnt, not tri-fectored.

I don't think this will make any difference to having one

I think it's a stupid idea as well

I much prefer the idea of having one captain and then possibly a leader ship group or a few vice captains.

Swans won the GF with 3 captians.
And came runners-up also with 3.
Now Saints obviously think they need 3 captians to sucseed.

But Saints, you ain't no Sydney.. You're more of a West Coast, with less.. Balls.

Due to the Captain's Curse down at St Kilda they are going for 3 captains so they can at least have one playing each week.

Looks like new coach Lyons is copying the Swans, you'd think he would have coached there or something

good for Luke Ball. i wanted him to be a captain (allbeit, sharing it around)

don't like the 3-captain-system myself. it basically means you don't have a captain.

i wonder what Teddy Whitten or Jack Dyer would have thought about sharing around their captaincy? just a though.
