They shouldn't let him back until the end of the year.
They pay for him to get well and encourage him to get back and play.
Weird Message if you ask me.

I reckon he'll be training with the Eagles within the next 2 weeks and play his first game somewhere between rounds 14-16

i was just thinking...if cousins has been dabbling in the substances for a while now, which it seems he has, and had still been playing some pretty good football...imagine how good he is going to play when hes clean!

like if you take some substance on a weekend, you still feel a little shady even by wednesday....and if you keep repeating and repeating the process every weekend or whatever the recovery time gets longer and longer, he must have been playing on half/three quarters of a tank by the end when he got caught.

when he comes back fresh as a daisy he could be a world beater.

I doubt that he'd been taking it for that long, and I doubt he would of been taking it back in 2005 when he was the real deal.
Still I say he'd be better of starting fresh next season.
He's going to be scrutinized every chance the media have.

I wouldn't care if he never played again.

Round 16 seems the popular choice, against Sydney @ Subi, big game, has the cushy environment of the home crowd first up to return to and can then face the music on the away game next round. Doubt it will be an odd round (away game).

...and Plugg3r I think you'll find he's been dabbling with the stuff much further back than last year.

The mail coming from West Coast is that Cousins was required to get the go ahead to return from the AFL and he would then be atleast a month training with the group before being eligible for selection. This would make round 16 the earliest possible return date.

I sincerely hope he gets up and running again and if you Eagles don't want him back we will gladly have him in red and black next year.
