Yes, that is what the AFL is going to do. I believe it's the right thing to do and really was a good move by the AFL...seeing as it was a tough contest and players were injured.

Bad Call.
I see Grand Final 1 as a 3rd preliminary final to qualify for the decider.. whats next? are they going to start handing medals out to every player from the premiership side that played during the season? or every player on the premiers team list? if they're going to do that why don't they give a medal to Joffa or Molly Meldrum as well this weekend because they're gonna have the same amount of input on the outcome!!

Absolutely Pathetic Call - Put it down for Worst Call of The Year!!!
Now I have heard it all. So if Gardiner can't play because he is injured and St Kilda win then Gardiner becomes a Premiership Player - and that's a Good Call guys and girls????????????????
