Default Cats to hammer the saints

The cats will hammer the Saints by 30 points or more when they meet.
Does anyone disagree?
Edit.
Port and The Hawks to also beat them.
Another year of so much promise, but not enough substance for Saints fans, Mark my words.

I agree about the Cats. Even though the Saints have been the best side this season, the Cats are still the side to beat.
It would be an interesting game against a full side Hawks, but I don't think Port are anywhere near it.

Saints are a great outfit with tough good leadership . They will play Geelong in the grand final. Injuries will decide the result except the cats have a better list of players not in the team & should cover injuries. Hodge is gone ,Hawks are gone.

Well I was stretching it with the Port bit, but I think the Cats are out in front on their own.
By round 19, the Hawks will have had their players back for a while and will be all over the Saints like a cheap suite.

Shees, another Cats grand final though.

Nah, I think the Saints are done. Game over.
The Hawks to also put them to the sword round 19.

LOL, yeah because one team scoring more points against Essendon than another team is relevant in every way. Going by that logic, St.Kilda beat Collingwood by 88, Geelong beat Collingwood by 27. St.Kilda must be the better team!!

See how stupid you sound with your 'Geelong would of put up 50 on them' argument? You're ridiculous. Logic, please.

Essendon are a finals side. They are extremely quick, and have the ability to be a hit and miss side. They're either good one week, or shocking the next. They were ready for us this week and we weren't, simple as that. We still won though, so I don't know what you're going on about. A win is a win.

I do think the Bombers are a bit underated and they had 9 days between games and the Saints had only 6. I would think the extra rest would help.

If I was to use your example of logic, I wouldn't be able to claim that the Hawks are going to knock over the Saints.

I didn't give you an example, I was showing you how stupid YOUR example sounds. Essendon had 2 extra days break over us, and it showed. Watch us this week, Brisbane only gets an extra day break over us (8 to 7) so you'll see us back again, you can count on that.

Oh, I see where I went wrong. I said if the cats played the Bombers on the week end, they would have beaten them by 50 points (a generously conservative figure).
Somehow I stupidly related that remark to what happened between the Pies, Saints and Cats over a 5 week period and a lot of injuries. Thanks for pointing that out.
I will have to choose my words better.

I expect they will beat the Lions but how well will they do it is the issue?

I am not sold on the Saints to be honest.

It doesn't mean that I don't enjoy their success and watching them play.
