Default Majak Daw incident

Very sorry to hear about Majak's incident yesterday. He has fought hard to secure his place in the North Melbourne side eventually going into the back line & playing good football. These players who come to Australia to a better lifestyle deserve a better reward than they often receive from opposition clubs who wouldn't treat their players that way.
The AFL must step up to the plate & stop this attitude if player welfare is a concern to them.. Nicky Winmar copped it as did Adam Goodes.
To have been at Etihad a few years ago & watch Majak take his screamer against the Doggies was enough to think he would make the grade. Yet he struggled to cement his spot.
Too many ex players also struggle to adapt to life away from the AFL.
Come on Gil, do something.
