Default The Norm Smith Committee got both medalists wrong this year

The Norm Smith Committee got both medalists wrong this year.

Taking nothing away from the great performances by Lenny Hayes & Scott Pendlebury, I think Brendan Goddard should have won the Norm Smith in Grand Final 1 & Steele Sidebottom should have won it in the Grand Final Replay.

Good Call ? Bad Call ?

Bad Call

That call devalues someones opinion and places your opinion above theirs!!!
Things like Best On Ground, Mark or Goal of the Year or Norm Smith Medallist are just opinions of individuals and like haircuts they all vary.

I don't think an opinion can be wrong. People look for different things. People have different values and beliefs.

Anyway for what its worth I thought Lenny Hayes was clearly best on ground in the first grand final and I reckon they got it right in the second as well with Pendlebury.

Brendon Goddard & Dale Thomas should of won the 1st Norm Smith and 2nd Norm Smith medals respectively.

Obviously taking nothing away from the winners, but I felt Goddard had a huge impact in GF #1 and Dale Thomas backed up his great GF #1 form with a very solid display in the GF Replay.
