Default Your Favourite Music Artist

Just wondering what taste the other posters here have in music. I think you can tell a lot about a person from the music they listen to. If you could figure out anything about me from my musical collection, it's that I'm indecisive and tend to live in the past. I have a rather eclectic collection of artists and songs. From Softcell and the Knack, to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. From The Killers and Evermore, to Moby and Modjo...I have a very wide range of favourites. However I've noticed lately that i tend to be going for more of the old classic 80's rock/pop.

My favourite song for the past year and half has been Khe Sahn by Cold Chisel. Man it's a classic. I've been caught out a few times at the traffic lights singing with it blaring through the speakers. How embarrassing. So how about the rest of you?

I like most genres of music (apart from Country), but I definitely have a preference for Hard Rock and Metal. My favourite bands are AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Guns and Roses.

I can't say I have a favourite song... I normally have a few and they seem to change every now and then... ATM my top 3 favourite songs would have to be Battery (Metallica), Long Way To The Top (AC/DC) and Best of You (Foo Fighters).

I don't mind Foo Fighters but Best Of You is a ****house song

My three favourite bands/artists atm would probably be Jeff Buckley, The Living End and Ben Folds.

PAFC I see you have not changed from a couple of years ago.

Best of you is not a scheizen hausen song. In fact if you have any sense of rock then it's extremely hard not to either tap along to the awesome drum beats or to scream your head off with Dave Grohl (forgive me if i spell that wrong). Furthermore I believe the singles charts have the numbers to prove that there is a greater majority who approve of this song, than of those who don't. So

Some of the bands/artists at the top of my playlist include:
Matchbox20
Coldplay
Foo Fighters
REM
Midnight Oil
Cold Chisel
The Living End
Hilltop Hoods
Madonna (how embarrasing)

But I'd have to say my favourite band of all time is u2. How many freaking aweseome songs have they made over the years! Sensational!

Ta,
BFTD

There I go where? Once again another pointless off-topic reply.

As I said before, if you have any sense of rock, which you evidently don't then you would see what I meant.

Every Morning by Sugar Ray is gold. I dunno why but it's so catchy. Everytime I hear it on the radio- usually at the shopping centre I get it stuck in my head for days. *Cue the catchy music*

I love John Farnham.

I don't mind Mika's new song Grace Kelly.
