Default Will Hawthorn be ravaged by heartbreaking injuries

Hawthorn i hope will not be a St.Kilda like outfit for next five years (new generational players), the Hawthorn now and St.Kilda a few years ago seem and seemed a relentless and intimidating outfit. However if the Hawks are ravaged by injuries to star players such as Lance Franklin, Jordan Lewis, Luke Hodge, Sam Mitchell and Jarryd Roughead they will be become weaker. Similar to what St.Kilda were a few years ago.

I am quite confident Hawthorn will win a grand final in the next five years, but i have small doubts in my head that injury will plague our chances.

Now that that realises my negative thoughts...

Carn The Hawks!

If any team gets injuries it will dampen their premiership chances! If geelong lose Ablett, Bartel, Mooney, Scarlett and Ottens their chances of back to back are out the window. Or are you trying to say these guys are injury prone? Can't recall any of them missing much footy through injury, think Hodge had OP and played through it early on thats about it.

I personally think the Hawks have the right mix to be Cats biggest threat in 2008.

Solid backline. Quality Mids with good depth. Very dangerous forward-line with plenty options. Serviceable underrated rucks.

Pelchen is a genius in my books.

Unfortunately Hawthorn overachieved last year and have now created supporter and media expectations (and obviously some other individuals that feel they have significant knowledge) that they are very unlikely to fulfill.

Hawthorn will drop down the ladder this year.
