Default Is this year different

This is no normal year for the hawks surely. It is the first we have started the year with such form and remarkable team work and flow in our game. Beating Melbourne whom beat us by 75 points only two years ago, was an effort. 104 points was such a surprise to everyone and especially the supporters. Although Melbourne were no where near up to scratch.

Been a loyal fan since i was 5-present (15), i have witnesssed some of Hawthorn's worst performances, that embarrassed the club. Winning is all very new to me and i'm sure other Hawks supporters of my generation. Winning is bloody fantastic!

Alaistar Clarkson, i believe has been one of the best coaches of the last five years. He has devolped the club from the day stratch, he has never lost my trust in his coaching. What guts it has taken to do what he has done, knowing that his team would get beaten almost every game he still persisted with the young inexperienced players. How thankful this club is not to have a coach like Terry Wallace, whom has moved the tigers backwards.

The work though is know where near done. As Alaistar Clarkson persits, i have to agree.
The hawks have to be destined for success though.. soon i hope

No doubt about it just goes to show how situations can change so quickly in modern day football.

Again have to say this was one of you best breaks. You found yourself down the bottom with AFL's most incompetent drafting team. Technically you could argue the Tigers could be where you are today. Given what we know today Franklin - Roughhead picks where a master stroke.

Still got alot of the same mistakes being made by the same players, you have beaten the worst team in the comp and 2 others who have 1 win to their name. Lewis is alreayd suspended again after 1 match back, Brown and Hodge look likely suspension candidates again. Franklin still needs to improve his goal kicking from set shots. Sure your a team on the up and no doubt a top 4 spot is yours for the taking again but i feel your a bit further behind Geelong than you think.

Oh come on Ali dont hate on em. Hawthorn will smash it this year, agree with lewis though, hees as selfish as anything.

Hawthorn supporters jump on cos your smashing it and you are the only team that can knock off geelong with a full list.

Im a Carlton supporter and Hawthorn killing it, really pi$ses me off. But habe to give credit where credit is due. I tipped them for the flag.

And i put $100 on the Hawthorn Ablett multi. Paying 42-1.

Where did i hate on them? Just pointed out someones getting ahead of themselves if they think Hawthorns in Geelongs class yet, maybe at years end if they lose 10 of the 22 uncontracted players but they still have a way to go yet.

Hawthorn are a very exciting side in are my early tip to play the Cats in the grandfinal but I doubt they could win it if Geelong were full-strength.

To beat the cats i think the X factor components will have to come into it, Hodge and Franklin are capable of anything even destroying Geelong on there day.

I know Geelong have there x factors as well, but if hawks are on and Geelong is a little off who knows???

Hawks are very capable!
