Default Time to get excited

When i first saw Lance 'buddy' Franklin play i knew he would be the club's bright future. Back then '2005', correct me if i'm wrong the Hawks were in dire straights, struggling financially, membership numbers and on the field.
However the youthful hawks have replinished the club and the ex-members are streaming back like they are pulled in. Buddy Franklin does this, he excites the whole league, the players, coaches the hawks fans and the opposing fans...

He was and is what the hawks needed and what the AFL was craving, a complete superstar!

A bit premature, but if he keeps on his merry way then he may well become the best ever, would like to see a solid season or 2.

Im on the wagon, love watching him, unique and unstoppable.

I think it's got a lot more to do with it than Buddy. I like him but I don't think he's a super star until he holds onto the ball more and can kick straight. I think he adds a lot of value by being on the field and taking the heat of some other forwards.
Clarkson was a breath of fresh air even when we weren't winning. The Hawks are winning and playing good footy as well. That's why the support is on the up.
Their fitness is a factor as well.
Everyone loves a winner and in 2235 there will be more than Chaddy cheering on the blues.

Tell me, who is this "everyone else"? A majority doesn't abitrarily prove you're point seeing as a majority of supporters go for Collingwood. OLDFELLA's points were good maybe you should think before you mash that keyboard.

I don't care what you say, the Geelong Advertiser is a mighty fine publication for Geelong supporters and bandwagoners alike

The following are pure gold:
Zero Punctuation, Family Guy, Mighty Boosh, Black Books, RATM, QOTSA, Buckethead, Werder Bremen and the Cats

If you dont think buddy is a star well you just a _____ I cant say I might get kicked off, then there will be no intellegence left@talkingfootball.net.forum

Who cares if he cant kick straight! When he kicks 8.6, his accuracy is no issue whatsoever!

There is not a person in the world that knows anything about football and doesnt think he is a superstar. Period...

Bender 100% spot on mate, regardless of anymore replys. Period...

Anyone who disagrees is simply:dayd reaming:

Yes Yes Yes, fitness and clarkson are factors but BUDYY is a SUPRESTAR Period.. Typos for 63!
