I'm not going to leave the team like that.
I just thought it might help doing this way.
Here. Take a look at this.
B - C.Jones, McPhee, A.Walker, Raines, Birchall, J.Walker, Koschitzke, [Frawley, Ellis]
C - Deledio, Griffen, M.Murphy, Pendlebury, N.Lappin, J.Selwood, [Thomas, Dunn]
R - Cox(c), Sandilands, [Hudson, Griffin]
F - G.Ablett, Ricciuto, Monfries, N.Brown, Franklin, D.Thomas, Hansen, [Davey, Edwards]
Still got 1.4mil in the bank, and i intend on using it.
This method gives a good solid base to work from.
I can definately see the benefits of going light on the midfield. There are so many great bargains - you'd be mad to buy anyone over 500k!!
Don't buy Judd. His starting price is ridiculous. Anything less than 22 games
at top form will cost you big time. I strongly recommend waiting until his price drops.
The new 'ruck' system has changed my outlook. It is absolutely critical your 2 starting rucks play 22 games each because there is a lack of pointscoring talent amongst the min. wagers. Guys like Leuenberger/Sellar/Renouf/etc won't play many games. And when they do - they get very few minutes! They will also struggle to lift their price. Right now, i am unsure what to do with the 2 reserve rucks. I currently own Hudson198k and Griffin90k. My thoughts were: should Hudson ever get injured, Griffin would come into the team. Hudson is expensive backup, but i can see price-rise. He is not worthy of being a starting player IMHO because he has just come back from a knee reconstruction and there's no way he can be entrusted to 22 games. Out of the high-price rucks, i think Dean Cox is a must-have. He has an outstanding record, rarely misses games, and is probably the best ruckman in the comp.
