Brades, you reckon i don't know SC
Do i have to remind you about rattling off 22 consecutive "TEAM OF THE WEEKS" based on Champion Data Rankings?
You shouldn't be comparing your players with last year's stats, especially with my players, since mine are forecast to improve dramatically. But apart from all that, i have already told you i will be spending every cent before the start of the season. I'm not going to leave it like that. It's just a guide. I want to leave the big names til last.
I discovered lots of useful things from those 'team of the weeks' last year. Here are a few examples:
- CD scores can oscillate very heavily, and almost every player will have 1 dramtically big game (sometimes reaching triple their average)
- most full-backs, centre-half-backs, and taggers (anyone who locks down on an opponent) don't score any points
- midfielders are generally the best pointscorers, and tend to score more consistently
- key forwards also perform extremely well, but tend to be inconsistent
- sharp kicking defenders are very good also, and tend be to very consistent
- ruckman need to find the footy around-the-ground (like Dean Cox and Troy Simmonds) in order to produce good scores
If you think you can find some decent midfield-type players amongst the backs and forwards, well done.
But there will always be more quality in the centres because they are the best pointscorers.
The best CD improvement will come from players taking on greater roles such as Jobe Watson or James McDonald (last year).
