Here's my 1st real draft:
B - Gilbee, C.Jones, McPhee, A.Walker, Birchall, J.Walker, Koschitzke, [Ellis, Frawley]
C - Hodge, Ball, Deledio, M.Murphy, Sylvia, Pendlebury, [Selwood, Thomas]
R - Cox, Hudson, [C.Cloke, Renouf]
F - Hall(c), Pavlich, Ablett jr, Lynch, Monfries, Franklin, Hansen, [Davey, Edwards]
tippaz, im starting to see the reason why u prefer to go very light on the centres area...
for example, if u have hall-pavlich-o'keefe-embley-etc on forwards (at least 5 or 6 superstars) and gilbee-cornes-goddard-etc on backs (at least 5 or 6 superstars), unless any injury comes, u dont really need to trade anyone for the whole season...
then, on centres, where arguably more talents are available at cheaper price, u could really punt on some cheap players and hoping they will strike rich in price... probably u need 1 or 2 superstars just to balance the side... and, with 5-6 bargain players, surely u wont miss all of them, at least 2 will make it and thats where ur money for future trade will come from... then, later in the season, u could concentrate on trading only around the centres area to buy 2 or 3 more superstars without having to worry about any other areas... and, that will only cost u about 6-10 trades...
PLUS, dont forget about the 1 or 2 cheap players in forwards and backs... kosi, nathan g brown, lachlan hansen, etc surely gonna make some extra money... trading 1 player on each area could make u the extra money to buy centre superstars... and, thats another 3-5 trades...
SO, even if any injury comes, u would still have plenty of trades plus the advantage of having expensive players so (most likely) u would only need to use 1 trade to get this done...
am i right ?
