Supercoach 2008 3rd Draft. Help Please

hmmm. that looks likes a pretty inexperienced effort. you're buying too many player who don't get stats.

Croad, O'Brien, Glass, Firrito are topline defenders who have very little statistical merit. don't buy them.
Bartel is one of the most expensive players in history and offers very little value for money. get Dal Santo instead.
Lindsay Thomas is a small forward (won't get many stats)
no point getting Hille. he doesn't contend with big gun rucks. he will only waste a midseason trade. may as well get another cheapo.
try to upgrade Reid or Harding for another big gun forward.
try to improve your reserves too. look for players who will play most games.

doesn't super coach go ofa different points system to dreamteam? more so how much effect a player has on a game? this is my first season of supercoach, dunno exactly how it works yet. i am seriously considering hille in the ruck, and glass done back, now that he's captain i expect him to score better

Is scored differently but the usual suspects still standout. If you go look at DT before it reopens check the top 10 players in each category then compare them to SC and you will still see Bowden, CornesX2, Bartel, Ablett, Pavlich, Brown, Cox dominate both forms of the game. You still need the ball to score in either game.

oh ok so u pick players with an accurate kick like dalsanto, hodge or johnstone and steer clear of your chad fletchers

Pretty much the only difference with SC. Players need good disposal however they also need plenty of disposals.
