Span - looking to finalise team - thoughts? Suggestions

Hi all,

2nd year of supercoach this year and looking to improve greatly on last year when I didn't do my research, drafted a few players who didn't play at all ran out of trades in about round 16!

Backs:
L Gilbee, H Shaw, J Gram, A Lovett-Murray, A Hunter, M Nicoski, D Bradshaw
Bench:
Hansen, Pfeiffer

Mids:
C Cornes, Dal Santo, G Ablett, B Houli, N Jones, N Stevens
Bench:
H Hocking
R Palmer

Forwards:
J Brown, B Johnson, B Fevola, L Franklin, C Gardiner, S Dew, J Kennedy
Bench:
K Tippett
C Rioli

Any thoughts, suggestions or advice would be much appreciated!

Chad Cornes should only be bought as a back mate.

reason - there aren't enough high scoring players in the back! you'd be shooting yourself in the foot
change it now

Top quality team ... my only minor critism is "S Dew, J Kennedy" I'm not convinced they will get enough game time to be starters in your side. However, if you feel different stick with your opinion.

Oh ... by the way who are your rucks?

Thanks guys - I had Cornes in the backline initially, but thought I could get more use for the dollars with a cheaper player down back - he was a proven performer last year, and if he doesn't perform, I could swap him for another topline midfielder without any issues.

Rucks - J Lay****, T Simmonds
Bench - Hampson, Meesen

Move Cornes to your backline as said earlier,trade Ablett and Fevola for cheaper options and use the money to fix up your rucks firstly.

I am HANGING for Rd 1 to start so I can stop tinkering!!

I've stuck mainly to my last list, with a couple of changes:

• traded Lovett-Murray for X Ellis in the backline
• traded G Ablett for S Mitchell in the middle
• traded up to Jeff White in the ruck to go alongside Simmonds

With Judd in the centre as well as Stevens, Gibbs and Murphy to provide quality delivery to Fev, I'm going to stick with him for a few rounds and see how he starts the season. Am fairly happy that Gilbee, Gram, Shaw and Hunter can cover me for numbers in the back to allow C Cornes to fit into my centre, and Bradshaw if he's fit should be a bargain.

Any glaring omissions you can find?
