Default The Formula For Player Price Increase This Year

Does anyone know the formula for player price increases this year? Also if a player is injured such as Lucas their price wont change will it after round three as he will only have played one game?
thanks for any feedback

I'm a first time coach, so I don't really know the machinations of price increases.

Is it really after round three that player prices start to increase? That is, if I want to say, get C. Rioli or S. Lonergan at 94,200, I should trade for them before round three?

The formula can't really be worked til after the first price change which happens after round 3.

If you do want Lonergan and Rioli at 94K then yes you do. Why do you want them though? Did your bench not play or just get outscored?

I just gave two obvious examples. I already have Rioli.

I'm considering doing two value trades prior to the price change: offload a fairly pricey player I expect to drop in value, and buy a real cheapo like Lonergan, especially if he scores well again in the second round.

Uhm...is this a reasonable enough strategy, or am I wasting my trades too early in the season?

yes correct.

Lucas will stay the same price until the 3rd week he plays

I recommend using 4 trades in the first 2 weeks to power up your rookies and injuries.
Then hold off and only try to trade 4 upgrades. e.g.
Drop Scott thompson (Nth Melb) for a new rookie in the back line or even Hartlet, in 4 weeks, then upgrade a player like lets say Roughhead for example to a Franklin with the extra cash.

Try to have 4 trades left by the finals. And have a bench full of scorers. all the best.

I'd only reccomend trading cows if yours aren't playing and the guy your trading into has atleast an 80 average after 2 weeks. So if your on Pfeifer down back and he misses this week and isn't named in round 3 teams it's OK to trade into another cow, if Pfeifer plays this week then i wouldn't bother wasting a trade even if he only scores a 40 he will still rise and you will get something from him instead of nothing.

I'd only reccomend trading cows if yours aren't playing and the guy your trading into has atleast an 60 average after 2 weeks. So if your on Pfeifer down back and he misses this week and isn't named in round 3 teams it's OK to trade into another cow, if Pfeifer plays this week then i wouldn't bother wasting a trade even if he only scores a 40 he will still rise and you will get something from him instead of nothing.
