Default Midfield Options

Working on boosting my backline wanting to trade Roughead for McPhee but to do this I need to find some extra cash.

Not happy with Goodes so was going to trade him for one of the following
P. Burgoyne - $435,900
M. McVeigh - $443,300
N. Malceski - $443,200
J. Lewis - $463,000

Just wondering your thoughts on which one would be the best to go for.

Cheers.

My suggestion would be lewis. He will remain a key part of Hawthorns midfield where McVeigh is likely to reduce his output upon the return of guys like Winderlich, JJ and god forbid it Camporeale. Malceski will be like most other Swans with some big weeks and some poor weeks due to there gamestyle where they don't necessarily play through any particular midfielders. P.Burgoyne has never come into contention for me whats he been doing?

I picked that list of players as options due to the fact that I needed a centreman that would average 90 to 100pts per week & couldn't spend any more than $465,000.
P. burgoyne (on current form fell into this catergory) 3 games - 103,105,83.

Anyway I had to make a decision b4 the lockdown so ended up going for him. (Hope he doesn't let me down)

Hi mate, if it were me I probably would've went for Peter Burgoyne out of a choice of those 4 seeing as though he is averaging just about as much as the other 3 and is a bit cheaper. But I probably would have held back for atleast a week as there is the chance of one of the saints taggers (Steven Baker and Jayden Attard) going to P.Burgoyne. I would expect that one of the taggers would go to S.Burgoyne but maybe the other would go to P.Burgoyne. Anyway, good luck. Hope to see you up near the top with me in that comp soon!

Was happy with the end result of my trades this week especially the Goodes trade.
Goodes out - ($56,600 down & only 41pts.) in P. Burgyone - ($13,500 up & 115pts.)

Cheers

Good to see you had a good week. I had an absolute shocker (just 1938 points). It seems I have gone worse every week since round 2. I have slipped from 1st overall to 12th overall and now I trail the leader (bluecats) by 318 points. Anyway, all I can do is watch and hope for the best!! Good luck for the rest of the season. Cheers, Gavin.

Hi guy's not too sure what to do this week. Wanted to get Malceski into my midfield this week but don't know who to let go.

My current midfield - Kerr (C),Rodan,Rischitelli,Mitchell,P. Burgoyne,Pearce (Emerg. Fixter & L. Thomas) Last week they averaged 127.5pts.

So my question is should I do the trade & if so who to drop or should I just stick with what I have got?

Cheers Craig.

One mistake I am making is using too many trades early in the season. But Malceski would be a great pick-up, probably I would trade Pearce for him as Pearce has been injured for quite a while or maybe Rischitelli if their prices are the same. Where are you ranked overall currently? Cheers, Gavin.

G'day Gavin Not quite up to your status yet as this is my first year (Made a lot of novice mistakes & now using up my trades trying to fix them up.) But we all have to learn somewhere. Overall ranking just over 50,000 with just over 9000pts.

Thanks for all the advice.

Cheers Craig
