i have heard on the grape vine that this guy has a huge potential. i see in Tippaz club by club review that this guy is going to go well this year. My question is - Is he in melbournes best 18 or will he get edged out with the return of guys like Mclean and the emergence of Morten and N. Jones????

He's a player I've also heard about and he's been considered. Not in my team at the moment but could come in if I get cold feet on Morton/Masten

Had a huge first season in AFL ... should have won the rising star award.

Got badly injured in round 22 2006 then only played half a game in round 1 2007.

Top quality taggger who has the ability to hurt the opposition going the other way.

I had him on my bench in 2006 and cashed in on him pretty nicely towards the end of the season. Wasn't a huge scorer, mostly 40-50 iirc but was ok at the time.

People are saying he's likely to play 22 games this year and take on the main tagging role.
Is he likely to increase his scoring? Better SC option than DT maybe?
At his price he looks to be a safer option for medium rewards whereas some other players might be more risky as far as guaranteed games but are likely to score higher.

TF?

Under Daniher he played a defensive tagging role, normally got 1 of the oppositions best players so was consistently around the ball.

However, he has a good engine and could be used as an offensive on baller, the kid is still very young.

As a fantasy footballer if his role changes under new coach Bailey to being more offensive think he has the ability to average 70-80's with maybe more peaks and troughs. If he remain defensive I would expect less peaks and trough with a lesser average say 50-70's.

Assuming his injuries are right he is in our best 22.

Saying all this I dont have him in my 22 but have him on my potential cash cow list!
