Default Daniel Kerr's CD Ranking

Climbs the mountain at 225pts - WOW !!

CD certainly loves match-saving tackles in the dying moments of the game. I reckon that added on about 50pts. (i hope you've got him in your SC dreamteam!!)

also worth noting:
- Scott Burns kicks the winning goal for Collingwood and suddenly strikes gold in CD after spending a lot of minutes on the bench.
- Simon Phillips does nothing all night. then kicks a clutch goal with 2min to go drawing the Swan within 1pt. Phillips cashes in!

I noticed this kinda stuff last year, but i reckon they've taken it to a new level this year. They seem to be adding on more points. Or is it just my imagination? What do you guys make of all this? Do any of you agree? Do you even like the system? Personally, i don't mind it.

I like it. It's a far better system for assessing a player's value to the team in a game than the plain raw stats used in the Dream Team.

The thing I don't like about is that we can't get the CD stats until the day after a match is played, thanks to the Herald-Sun having an exclusivity deal with CD.

Look i got daniel kerr, but... does it go the other way, ie, shannon grants clanger?
I dunno, adding weight to the final last couple of mins when the games in the balance makes little sense i reckon, you could play the best 1st quarter ever and deny the opposition the chance to even be in the running by the last, and get no 'bonus' points.... stick to stats i reckon, i like the clanger negatives, but... look assessing impact, stats aint for that, supercoach aint for that.
Well, look i spose it can give your full back donkeys a see in, ie, leo barry 2005 grand final, woulda scored what, 5000?

I remember Justin Longmuir scoring about a 1,000,000pts for his famous goal after the siren
