Get rid of Chick

Got to get Chick out of my team.. Would like your opinion on what to do? Have not got heaps of cash, so pretty much the money I get for him is all I have.
Was thinking of getting Solomon or Brennen or go cheap and get someone like toovey so I can free up some cash.

Any other opinions would be appreciated?

I'd be selling off Trent Knobel, he isn't due back until at least round 12, and Ottens should play this round. It's hard to get a cheap ruckman that will play though, I think Renouf might be the way to go, if there is an injury at hawkland he should play.
Use that extra money to trade Chick for Polak, Rutten or Whitnall. Whitnall's price has bottomed out and he looks to have hit some form against the Lions.

Id sell miller and chick
buy an 82k defender and someone like goddard.

then put ellis on the field. Its not ideal but i think
goddard + ellis outscores miller + chick most weeks

Wasting a trade if you're gonna go for Goddard and Ellis, the best way to use your trades is to find a trade which will give you the greatest points increase.

Trading Knobel for a lower priced ruckman then swapping Chick for Polak would give you a greater points differential

Thanks mate, going to take your advice and get rid of Knobel, in hindsight it was silly holding on to him for so long anyway...
Know of any cheep ruck's that are going to play any time soon?

R Warnock (Freo), Renouf (Hawks) and maybe Hampson (Blues) will play soon. Warnock will just play a few minutes to give Sandilands a rest, but if Sandilands missed a game then Warnock would see a big jump in playing time. Renouf would play a bit if Campbell or Taylor were hurt, and in the VFL Renouf has been useful as a forward and defender. Hampson was a high draft pick and if Carlton lose a few games in a row they will want to give him some games.

Personally, I've got Renouf on the bench waiting for his chance.

Nearly did the same thing with Knobel myself at the start of the year. I had him in my team up until teams were named for round one, when I saw he wasn't there I opted to go with Griffin from Adelaide.

miller 68 + chick 47 = 115
goddard 93 + ellis 40 = 133

and id assume ellis' average will keep growing if he keeps playing and millers' will head south.

but i agree your rucks should prob. be fixed first.
