Is Brown worth it and who will win?

I am playing one of my mates this week in Supercoach and I have to win but I also dont want to leave myself too low on trades as Ive had to use five already because certain coaches arent playing some young players.

Who do you think will win and are there any moves I can make to counter him. I dont think Brown is worth it just yet but I am looking at getting him in the next week or two if Okeefe can rise in price and Brown drops as Brown lost 16200 even after scoring 154.
