Interesting choices there. I went with the safe Alonso/Super Aguri, compared to your McLaren/Heidfeld.

You know much about em Peter? I guess you probably do, most think they are no names lol.

No names? They'e both bigger names than Super Aguri

I had Heidfeld in the second 1/2 of last season and when the car didn't **** itself he did well. The car seems to be going well in testing so I thought I'd jump onboard early this season. I can't see him going down to much in price but he might increase by $5-6m.
I don't consider McLaren to be much of a risk. I think they'll go better than Renault an should increase in price too.

I think it's really only the Ferrari car that might drop but I wouldn't be surprised if both drivers get podium finishes in a lot of races this year.

Just realised you have to name a captain this year... didn't have to last year.

I've now traded Heidfeld for Massa to give me someone who can score points worthy of a captain and downgraded one of my McLarens for Red Bull with their new engine.
I was also looking at Raikkonen but I think Massa will go better early on and then Raikkonen will do better after a few rounds.

The other choice was Alonso, who will be right up there in his McLaren but if I did that my team would be identical to Brades and I can't have him thinking I copied him

Massa could turn out to be the worst pick of the 3 though. We'll see.


By the way, my wife (Ryoko) entered the F1 DT last year and decided she'd do it again this year. Hope you don't mind if she's in our league.
This is legitimately her team too, she's selected her starting team and will be making all trades (Unlike the team in the AFL DT )
