Default Euro 2008 Qualification

Euro 2008 Qualification

England approach two critical Euro 2008 fixtures without several key players. Lampard, Rooney and Beckham are all unavailable for the games against Israel and Russia which could determine both England's chances of reaching the finals, and the likelihood of Steve McClaren keeping his job. The pick of the other qualifiers is the World Cup final rematch with Italy and France battling for Group B superiority.

England are so *****ed. Gerrard is highly doubtful too for the match and they don't have a consistent striker who won't stop getting injured.

it won't be the same without england at the euro. that'd be like the world cup without argentina or germany.

True. At the moment the same could be said about Italy, as they have a tuff group..

By the way Brades, nice to bump into you again.. (Dhill from AMF)

I've been saying this for quite some time,
England are rubbish especially Rooney

No, they barely deserved 5th place in the world cup and got it handed to them, unless you get a repeat bye bye what little shred of pride is in the Italian game.

england will qualify, even if it has to happen on a plastic pitch!......as much as it pains me to say but they look alot better without lampard, barry plays nicley along side stevie g in the middle..not fighting after the same balls and going forward like frank likes too. joe cole and wright phillips are key out wide, their pace and tricks should be too much for most sides to handle......the thing that kills most english sides is the sitting media back there waiting to pounce..and heaping the pressure on day in and day out...poor buggers cant do anything right in their eyes- and if they do win a game, the media builds them up to be world beaters so that next game they lose they have further to fall again.

go scotland i say!

LOL @ England.

The sooner that joke of a coach McClaren goes the better it is for everybody involved (except me, i love watching England fail )
