I just found this great website and wanted to get in on some of the footy discussion for the 2007 season. I've been an Aussie Rules fan since I was a child and like to watch it on television whenever I can. I don't have a clear-cut favorite AFL team, but a few of my favorites are West Coast, Sydney, Richmond, and Brisbane. I have last year's Grand Final on DVD and watched it the other day to put myself in the mood for the upcoming season.

I don't know if you have other Americans post on your forum but I live in 'Football Crazy' Alabama (home of the Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers), and I appreciate how exciting Aussie Rules can be. I play in an Aussie Rules league over in Atlanta, Georgia, and it's a very addictive sport to play and watch.
