Dozer is on a distinguished road
Default Dozer

Been around since near the beginning of this site (the original) but seen it's been upgraded, will upgrade myself as well (if at all possible)

Born & bred in Adelaide, spent a small part of my youth in the southeast SA region as well. Lived in Tassie for 8 years on graduating Uni and have been in Central Vic for the last 5 years.

Go for the once mighty Blues (hopefully on the way back). This came from living in the Millicent as a youngster. Sturt was my SA team, and on moving to the SE was exposed to the VFL. Robbert Klomp from Sturt had just moved to Carlton, so decided they would be my team and haven't changed since. Not even when the Crows came about and I was in Adelaide.

Good to see you back Dozer.

Sturt eh? My local club's colours were also double blue. When the club started in 1970 we designed guernseys similar to Sturt's but used our own design for socks and contacted Sturt to see if they were interested in a partnership between the 2 clubs. Sturt were initially interested but then they changed their mind, stole our sock design and told us to get stuffed

Some of the older members still bag Sturt because of it. I wasn't around in those days so I don't mind them.

Because I haven't really followed them since leaving SA. Didn't get much news on it in Tassie and the league was on the decline then anyway.
