Default A few player questions........

By years end, who do you think will be the more worth while ruckman to have kept, luke darcy or hudson?

one of these weeks im going to have to get rid of one of them, darcy seems to have a good week and then a poor one, while hudson seems to just cruise along getting 50s and 60s. Do you think darcy is building up to be a dominant player again? they are both worth about the same amount..give or take a bit.

Another player i have on the bench is boyle, he is scoring ok, but more importantly for a bench player he has risen just over 100k so far. do you see him rising much more?, or is it time to harvest this one and pick up jesse smith.

Does anyone rate smith? as a player or as a dt'er.

Looks like the goodwin train is leaving the station, could be get on now or never, im thinking of swapping him for haselby.....i dont really think haselby is fit enough to dominate midfields like he used to, he still seems to get a lot of the ball tho. Scores around 100 regulary, which seems like a waste to pick up goodwin who will probably score about the same. But im finding it hard to pass up the offer!

i could also swap him for ball, who im still not set on, if it wasnt for those 14 tackles last week he'd have had a poor score..and i dont know many players who can constantly pick up 14 tackles a week, so do you think ball is getting better after his injury or is he going to be a consistant 70/75 scorer.

priddis has ganied a regular starting spot now and probably nudges lappin out of the side, but you just know lappin will score 120 the first time you bench him!

anyway all this manouvering is for goodwin...should i swap him for a like priced player.......or trade in a cash cow and upgrade a mid centre...or not bother cause he may be not worth the hasstle and trades nyway?

Darcys average a few years back was pretty solid, if he can get back to that then I'd be sticking with him. I guess it's a little bit of a gamble but I'd be going with Darcy.

About Goodwin, I wouldn't be trading a like player because it may be a waste of a trade. To get the most out of your trades you want to swap players that will have the greatest points differential, to give you the greatest advantage. Therefore swapping Haselby for Goodwin wouldn't be a good move in my opinion. Selling off a cash cow the upgrading an average mid sounds like the way to go
