Default Who's been your 'best buy' this year?

For me, Scott Pendlebury has been an unexpected surprise. He might actually be worth keeping for the entire season, even though i had anticipated for eventual need of an upgrade. He's actually been playing half-forward-flank, but pushes up into the midfield (just like Ryan O'Keefe). He takes marks, kicks goals, provides assists... how good is this kid? He's managed to overcome that dodgy misclassification of 'centre' with no trouble at all, and if the dt catergorizers ever get it right... he ought to become a 'forward' next year!
At the start of the year, i thought he'd been playing a part in the Magpies midfield as a rotated onballer (well i obviously got that wrong!), and i spotted him up in pre-season when he got a 29 possession haul from just 60min of gametime. That's why i bought him! Now i know what to look for in next year's pre-season!!
He'll go very close to winning the Rising Star Award too.

And if only Pendlebury could kick anything straight, I would rate him... however that does not matter in DT.

Best: Judd, Smith and Davey

Knights, Priddis, and McGlynn, haven't needed to touch the playing midfield yet. Worst would be Goodes will he turn it around?

Yep i had pendlebury from the start as well he is great for my team and very consistent (8 weeks between scores of 74 and 102).

G. Ablett has been an absolute gun this year and i'm extremely glad i picked him up.

Daniel Cross is a good captain.

Ad****, Selwood and Davey have also been good for their price, most of the time getting a gig in the side.

Rodan and Lappin, for cheap point scorers.

But was most happy to get Johnathan Brown, Riewoldt and Whitnall when they all bottomed out (saved about 250k + there). Also pendelbury would have to be raging favourite for the rising star surely.

and judd as a fail safe captain week after week.
