Ok I will bite here.

Lift the stupid ban on people viewing their own and others public profiles. It is one of the reasons why people don't come and post on here. How are they supposed to post a usernote or send them a pm or even add them to their buddy list?
I am sure that people will be able to get on well with each other.

Secondly, I would like to see more moderators on here. You aren't on here all the time and can't cope with all the stuff that goes on.

It is stupid and let's the forum down if you can't see your own public profile.
Bigfooty, etc, don't have a ban on their members profiles. Although as a guest you can't see people's profiles unless you are logged in.
I made a mention of bigfooty because it is at the moment the best and the biggest footy forum around. They aren't as strict as what you are. So relax that ban and make it so us members can see eachother's profiles.
There are a alot of people who join them more than here because they listen to their members.
You have a range of people in here who are of different ages. We aren't all 7 or 8 years old. So take away that stupid ban on viewing people's profiles and do what Bigfooty do and allow members only to view everyone's profiles.
Also adding usernotes would be great as well. People like to communicate via usernotes as well.

Obviously that differentiates us from our competitors. We will NOT compromise the security of our members.

Hence we might never be the "biggest" but we will definitely be the safest. You call us strict ... I think you would be better targeting our competitors making sure they are safe.

So you can guarantee if you join our network NONE of your private information will be able to be harvested by nasty spam bots etc.

Makes you wonder if our competitors can make the same claim.

Just leave this sports forum the way it is.

Nothing needs to be changed IMO .

Im not interested in other peoples public profiles......This is a sports forum for FOOTBALL,not a public chat room for teen-agers...ECT.

You can deal with spambots better. There are codes and that sort of thing out there so you can ban them from viewing your forum.

They don't give out personal information either.

Maybe I should get a few of the mods from there to actually tell you why their forum is better than yours. You will find it is because of you guys are way too strict.
Lighten up.
I think that there is even something in your admin cp telling you that you can actually tick a box to get rid of the spambots.

You will only lose members from here if you continue to have these dumb and outdated rules.
