T.F is turning into a bit of a joke

3 ex moderators have either left or been banned and no word at all from the admin. What is going on here? I can't even view my own profile as I must be a risk at abusing myself through the pm messaging system. The older members that are still here don't post as often and the newer members have a combined iq of 100(Minus a very select few).

Sorry TF but the strict rules are pushing people away, including myself from the boards. And some of the accusations you have made are riddiculous. The way the older members are being treated is rubbish.

Until this is sorted out, i'm afraid I will prefer to post at BF.

BF has it's share of ****s too (probably a higher proportion and worse than we have here).

But, I have to agree with you PAFC, the board has gone a fair bit downhill after those 3 left and the profile thing is weird, I don't see the logic behind it... and the sites rules are too strict... it's always good to see a bit of banter (it makes the board more entertaining) and from what I've seen it wouldn't have crossed the line at any other forum.

Its still great but like I said its becoming dull.

Maybe lay off the as strict rules and allow some of these boys back on as I know one has already have bad words out on TF unfortunatly.

Each ex-member knows why they have been banned! If they choose not to read or choose to ignore our site guidelines that's up to them. Yes, I admit I've been very, very tolerant in the past with letting people push the boundaries of those guidelines.

However, I've consistently warned people since we have converted to vbulletin. Again if people want to ignore those warnings, well what can I say.

PAFC I'm not prepared to play silly childish games with people who want to hide behind multiple accounts and "fake" hotmail or yahoo email addresses.

If anybody wants my personal mobile number I'm happy to discuss it with them person - person. Everybody on this site has access to my personal email address via our contacts page.

If I've made a mistake ... I'm man enough to admit it. I'm hiding nothing.

As this site offers 100% free membership with access to all parts of the site we are forced to create a "priority list". Each item on that list addressed when time permits. Let me also say, time is never your friend when you are trying to do 100 things at once .. then see your family occasionally. (My family nearly have to make an appointment to see me these days)

Last year we had terrible problems with undesirable porn and illegal sites trying to make personal gains by advertising on our sites. I've spent the last 5 years of my life fully understanding and learning legal and ethical search engine optimisation techniques. I know the games they are trying to play.

I think as owners of this site we have some rights!

Good point ... However, think Adrian Appleyard (Owner of BF) has had his problems in the past with the "looney" online elements. IMHO Adrian is a lot tougher task master than me but does an good job.

Ok, I know you've told the members why they've been banned but there has been no mention to the members of tf. How do you expect me to believe anything from your side of the story when the only thing I hear about the situation is from those who have been banned?

Now you've been warning people against doing these things? I have no idea what one of these things wce_all_day_way has done or even Brades. How do I know that i'm not breaking these rules because i'm not sure they're in your guidelines.

Everyone has left their information in their profile knowing that people can view it. There is currently a msn thread in off topic and i'm assuming email address was one of the things you wanted to cut of when you decided to block profiles? I'm just not sure what you were trying to do when you blocked them. And about my own profile, I just think it is plain bizzare that I can't see it.

Ok, next issue. Multiple email accounts. I have multiple email accounts too, so what? I have one for school so I can send work home, I have one for msn and I have a yahoo account. How does multiple mean fake? It is not against tf.net rules to use more than one email account and if it is then that's just plain stupid.
I access tf.net from school on certain occasions. So I bet it might come up one day that I have been viewing the site from different places, possibly you might find out I use more than one email address. It proves NOTHING and I doubt you have any hard evidence to back up your claims about Brades.

Next you go onto stuff about advertisments. How does this relate to Brades, wce_all_day_way and Shrek. Are these the people trying to link your site with illegal ones? C'mon, even you're smarter than that tf.

And these 'riddiculous' accusations, well it sounds like you've made some. I've been told you accused them of trying to bring down the site, that is pretty crazy if you ask me. You're saying Shrek, Brades, and wce made 1000's of posts over a few years to try and bring down a relitively small football message board?

I think what everyone's trying to say is these new rules a throwing away the older guys who have been with the board since last year.
I myself have been here from the start of this year so I don't have a connection with this.

But still see what the guys are saying.
It's a shame when these things happen when this happens, in the long run we all need to make the decisions for the best of TF.net.

Just read our - Forum Guidelines we politely request if all members can read them. If there is anything they dont understand please feel free to ask.

However, illegal use of the private message system is not tolerated.

Why ... because then we would be forced to switch it off. Are you calling for that?

Hey TF, This is Brades - You've forced me to register another account just so I can even explain what is going on.

YOu have emailed me and I have emailed you, and I'd like to make this clear to the public.

I was on here for a long time, since 2004 or 2003 I believe, posted over 5000 posts and had many an argument with people as you do when you are my age.

You now accuse me of having Multiple USERS on my account named "Brades". This is completely untrue. You have mistaken my multiple IP addresses as the addresses of other people who you think are Shrek and the like. I have multiple IP addresses, this is true. The reasons for this are that I log in to TF.net from university when I am on my breaks from class and have nothing to do. I also used it from my Aunt's PC when I have been fixing it. I also use my home address which can have multiple Adam Internet IP addresses as we are on a Dynamic IP address system.

Next you are accusing me of bringing on Pornographic advertising to this website from spammers and you call me a kid. Hello, I'm 21 years old, I'm not a kid like Borak or Plugger may be considered. Plus, as evidenced on many PHPBB forums, spammers randomly appear with such links and it is the fault of no one, its just like spam to your emails, it happens.

I do not know of anyone who tried to destroy the site completely, I only know of people who were having fun on the site, but not destroying it. I ask you, why would they destroy it if they have thousands of posts? What gain is there for them if they have nowhere to talk.

So TF, I think you should listen to your members. I am a victim of your evil scheme and your lack of knowledge of the IT industry, as you still think I am a spammer or someone who lets any random use my account, even after changing my Password twice. You think I am using a fake email by having a Gmail account, well if you ever want a screenshot of what I do with my gmail, you'll see that its like my MSN account, its to use on Google Talk to talk to my university friends instead of MSN. Plus, You have already seen my home email account @adam.com.au, I have not hidden it, you asked for it, I gave it.. Why would I give it to you if I had something to hide?

I rest my case. If you see fit to not let me use this site, then so be it, but you will have about 10 active users for the next 5 years if yuou keep this up.
