Default 2008 AFL Team Predictions - Sydney Swans

2008 AFL Team Predictions - Sydney Swans

Predictions - How the
Sydney Swans will lineup and perform in season 2008.

Best Team Lineup

FB: Ted Richards, Leo Barry, Jared Crouch

HB: Craig Bolton, Lewis Roberts-Thompson, Tadhg Kennelly

C: Luke Ablett, Brett Kirk, Martin Mattner

HF: Jude Bolton, Ryan O’Keefe, Kieren Jack

FF: Nick Davis, Barry Hall, Michael O’Loughlin

Followers: Darren Jolly, Adam Goodes, Nick Malceski

Bench : Amon Buchanan, Peter Everitt, Ben Matthews, Patrick Veszpremi

Emergencies: Heath Grundy, Henry Playfair, Tim Schmidt

2008 Predictions

Most Goals: Barry Hall
Most Possessions:
Nick Malceski
Most Marks: Adam Goodes

Potential Step Up Year:
Kieren Jack
Dreamteam Smokies: Jack, Hall, Ablett
Most Brownlow Votes:
Malceski
Rising Star: Veszpremi

General Comments: Can the Swans get back to the top ranks in AFL football with maybe somewhat of a heavily aged list. Its easy to write this team off but when you look thru their best line-up it ooozes experience and class. Add some new blood in Mattner, Jack &
Veszpremi combined with further improvement by Malceski and you can never say good-bye.

Predicted Final Ladder Position: 5-8 ... Think its now or never alternatively the window might be well and truly shut.

Keys To Moving Up The Ladder:
IMHO two players ... Barry Hall needs to kick 100+ and Adam Goodes needs to recapture his Brownlow winning form. However, what two great players to be "keys" to your year.

Your Comments Welcome
