Speaking of Melbourne...if Melbourne and Freo keep going the way they are will the Demons(Melbourne) merg with Freo like Fitzroy did with the Brisbane Bears.(stupid thought..but being from WA i would love to see that,it would make my day to know that most Victorians would be up in arms about it... ha ha ha ha ha ha ).

That would rip out the heart and soul of any Victorian......I would love to see it happen..

the only reason that the heart and soul of afl is in victoria is because afl is run from there, the mcg deal with the grand final every year etc. in the distant future i could see the rest of the comp pulling the plug and forming there own league.
and the answer to bartel is kerr. dream team by between 4-7 goals

The heart and soul of football is Victoria and always will be. The biggest population of footy fans are Victorian. WA and SA have 2 teams each, and QLD and NSW 1 each and unless their teams are traveling well, they struggle to sell out 40,000 capacity stadiums. Imagine if there were only 2 teams in Vic, the MCG would be sold out every week.

Highly doubt that. It may have been invented there, but its a very national game and the distribution of talent proves that.
