Default North Melbourne vs West Coast - Round 8 - Gold Coast Stadium

I think the roo's know this ground better than the eagles, and now is as good a time as any to break our hoodoo against them

The Mighty Roo's for me

North have been in pretty poor form as well...

I think we really need a win after that discraceful display against Adelaide though, good to see some youngsters in this week as well. Pity bout Smith and Pratt - both a big loss.

Eagles generally have the edge over us because of that ridiculous midfield in previous years. Hopefully this year Rawlings can take Priddis and we have a win

Another fairly scr@ppy contest. We were nowhere near our best , but our old heads combined and got the job done. But we will certainly need to play better next week to challenge the dogs.

I am a little bit concerned about Daniel Wells and his knee. He did come back on and play on but he seemed to be favouring the knee a little bit and it was heavily strapped. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Lindsay Thomas won't win mark of the year but his hanger may well get mark of the round , it was a beauty.

Certainly not the best game of footy I have seen but I will take the win , and certainly savour it considering its our first against the eagles for a while

ummmm why?

North get their 400k for playing their, i don't think anybody actually cared about the crowd. Do you think 6.5k or 10k would've really made a difference?

Rather poor performance, way too many turn overs. We need guys like Lower and Riggio spending more time in our midfield because they can actually kick the ball. Urquart must surely come into the half backline with Sinclair as well. Watt, Harding, Power - not good enough for AFL Football.

Why are North playing there then Borak? If it's not about the crowd or spectators, it must be about gathering frequent flyer points?
