Default North Melbourne vs Geelong - Round 11 - Telstra Dome

The main reason I am tipping Geelong is that the roo's are coming off a 6 day break and they had to travel interstate last round.

I think they will be very competitive and I certainly hope they can cause somewhat of an upset , But I am tipping Geelong

I don't care what you say, the Geelong Advertiser is a mighty fine publication for Geelong supporters and bandwagoners alike

The following are pure gold:
Zero Punctuation, Family Guy, Mighty Boosh, Black Books, RATM, QOTSA, Buckethead, Werder Bremen and the Cats

Geelong should win easily, the Cats play their best footy at the Dome.

North Melbourne are no chance, has anybody seen their injury list?

Nathan Grima (knee) - season
Leigh Adams (knee) - season
Robbie Tarrant (shoulder) - 6 weeks
Aaron Edwards (broken leg) - 5-6 weeks
Jess Sinclair (ankle) - 4-5 weeks
Andrew Swallow (ankle) - 3 weeks
Alan Obst (punctured lung) - 2 weeks
Jesse Smith (hamstring) - 2 weeks
Levi Greenwood (groin) - Test
Daniel Wells (knee) - Test
Lachlan Hansen (knee) - Test
Nathan Thompson (knee) – Test
Corey Jones (ankle) - 1 week?

Geelong by a sh*t load.

Outstanding effort - so proud of the boys tonight. Considering the young and inexperienced team we had on the park tonight we were fantastic. Have been told from a heap of people that i've spoken to already that the umpiring was discraceful. I won't get too much into it but oh boy, one of the worst i've seen for a while.

Hey Borak

I didn't get to see much of the game, but I heard the majority of it. Considering the odds that were stacked against us I think we were extremely brave in defeat. We stuck with them all night and had a few things gone our way who knows what may have happened.

players like Riggio, Lower, Urquhart, Thompson, Thomas, Campbell etc all stepped up tonight and that's were our future is. It's looking very promising

as long as we can beat the dockers in Perth next weekend, we will still be in fairly good shape

GO ROOS!

p.s I tipped Geelong by 19 and I was only a goal off it. Not a bad effort I thought

Watching the game ... umpiring was awful (as always) but it felt like Geelong would get 3 goals up, let North to within a goal then go back to three goals up

Yep, totally agree. Geelong never looked liked they could lose, and Ableet is an absolute superstar, love watching him play. Full credit to North though, they put in a very good performance, and it might have been different if they had targets up forward in Thomo and Corey Jones.
