MIGHTY MAGPIES 01 is on a distinguished road
Post Collingwood V Hawthorn - Round 18 at MCG

The last time we played Hawthorn we were smashed. I'm not sure how we are going to stop Buddy, but i think the Big H Harry O'Brien will be given first crack. The Pies are really struggling for form at the moment, i just hope we can lift our workrate and play with the same level of intensity that we showed in the Geelong game. Go PIES!!!!!!!!!

You can stop Buddy, but Buddy isn't the problem

BUDDY HELL, he was unstoppable. Even though the margin was 9 Goals, i actually think it was an improved effort from the Magpies, the Hawks were just too good. We are missing Rocca up forward, there is too much pressure on Cloke, i reckon the time has come for Chris Dawes to make his debut against the Saints next week, he will give us a target at full-forward. Bryan and Toovey should be dropped, they try hard but they just aren't up to AFL standard. It's going to be a huge challenge next week against the Saints..

Default Had Enough

Thats it, I've had enough of Mick Malthouse's self serving spin. 6 years at the club, the best backing money can buy, best resources and best training facilities every thing a coach wants and what does he offer. Oh we don't have the cattle (read - its not my fault) supporters saying oh we just missed a grand final by 5 points (get real we finished 6th and then had a lucky win)

Mick you choose the cattle you trained them and we are still going backwards. If it was anybody else and their record was 6 years at the club, barely 50/50 win rate and going backwards in the ladder they'd get the chop.
Time has passed bye, time to move on. See ya later Mick

Default Pebbles

Got to agree, Collingwood have awesome training facilities, had a great draw this year, and money is a plenty.

Plenty of time to find the right cattle, not a good excuse for a coach to make.

Look back to the pre season predictions and some of the key areas raised were midfield lack of pace, lack of ruck power, and a key big forward.....(if Rocca aged got injured or or slowed) he did all 3.

Maybe Kerr and Cox, and a power forward could snap a GF as the rest of the list is still a quality outfit.

Carlton and Essendon both lower middle order teams killed the Pies in the center, and in the ruck Essendon walloped them,.....both teams the Pies should beat, so Rucks, midfield and power forward.

Time to go to the Stock Yard and make a few bids oh and check out pre season comments on coaches.

Should Mick go ????? I think he will resign if they dont make the 8.
