Post Sydney Vs Geelong - Round 20 at ANZ Stadium

Geelong should win easily, the ANZ Stadium surface is dodgy so hopefully No Geelong players get injured.

Default Sydney v Geelong

The Sydney v Geelong match this Saturday night at ANZ Stadium shapes up as a must win for Sydney if they want to hold on to fourth position on the AFL ladder.

If Sydney is to have any chance of causing an upset they must shut down Geelong’s run and must tackle like no tomorrow.

Sydney must win the individual battles in the midfield and move the ball quickly to catch the Geelong defence out one-on-one and give Barry Hall and new forward sensation Adam Goodes a chance to put a score on the board that will be competitive and maybe lead to an improbable victory.

But Geelong has winners all over the park and the midfield of Ablett, Bartel, Corey, Ling and young gun Selwood should be able to overpower the tough Sydney midfield and give their forwards plenty of opportunities which should lead to a comfortable victory for Geelong.

Geelong will welcome back Darren Milburn from suspension and Paul Chapman if he is passed fit at training.

Punters who are considering an AFL bet on the outcome of this match should note that Geelong has won its three past matches against Sydney by an average of 29 points.
